Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative based in Nairobi, Kenya, to oversee and drive sales activities across East Africa. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for aviation, excellent sales skills, and the drive to develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the East African region.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Respond to client inquiries and RFQs, preparing and presenting tailored quotations.
  • Build and nurture relationships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and product availability.
  • Utilize company tools and CRM software to track sales activities and maintain client data.
  • Prepare and conduct persuasive presentations and sales pitches to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to support lead generation and client outreach initiatives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings across East Africa.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to the management team.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a sales role, preferably within the aviation or related industry.
  • Location: Based in Nairobi with the flexibility to travel within East Africa.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
  • Technology: Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Education: A degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field is preferred although not mandatory.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the aviation sector and the East African market is a significant advantage.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-starter, results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
